jst ignore people on here, apparantly most of them have never gone over the speed limits in their lives. cars are highly capable of breaking in time compared to when cars and limits wer made decades ago.

if i had a scooby id be doin more than a 100 lol, and it doesnt matter if im 17 or 57

I went to court for 96 in a 70 and my previous points were read out to the magistrate before sentencing. However I had 2 offences that had expired so they only read out the current endorsment of 3 points.

125 aint really that fast.

Ive done 155 and i felt safe. all depends on how comfortable you are and the road conditions etc i think.

You could be doing mach3 for all I care.
You obviously don't learn though and driving while already banned deserves a life ban, although that woulnd't stop you anyway.

I dont quiet see the logic your making here? He was in a company Mondeo at the time but he owns a tasty Scooby. Why do you have to be under 30 to speed?

Ok, a little generalisation on my part i will concede

However, when you are 30ish you generally have responsibilities in your life (mortgages kids etc) that mean your less likely to be doing speeds that are likely to lose you your job......if he was in a company car i wouldnt have thought his boss was none too impressed anyways

110 on a bypass and you got away with it?

And thats exactly what the lad in question here just got - £225 and 6 points. Our boss sent the court a letter saying that if he was banned he would also be sacked (even though this wasnt true) It was this apparently that let him off without a ban.
