I use this method to spin tracks.

Not the popular ones like FInal Scratch or SSL tho, i use PCDJ Scratch. SOftware no one seems to know about.

yes but it needs to be a line input and not a phono input lol

This is how it will be wired...

phono output -->preamp-->line signal-->sounds card-->mixer

yeah, i havet read the full thread.

But if u have 1210's and are needing the signal to leave the decks at line level, you just need two simple pre amps on each deck

Like i said, i havent read the full thread so i might be wrong

You need two of these. This will amplify the sound leaving your decks to Line level so the software can "hear" the information from the coded vinyl

The top left Pic i mean ($29.95)

These are the ones that Visiosonic (the makes of PCDJ Scratch) reccommend to users who have 1210's

I got the pcdj as its the cheapest, just to try it. Ive heard from a good source that once you have the time coded vinyl and the sound card etc then you can acquire the others software and it will work. Ive heard good things about the PCDJ one however and you cant grumble for £99 quid

yeah i got it when it came out, i'm lucky enough to have the PCDJ uk offices about 20 minutes from my house so i could have a play on their setup b4 i bought mine tho

it works perfectly imo, just like using normal vinyl
