why do peope egt so arsey about beign ID'd? if u serve someone underage u can get lande with a £5k fine, better be safe than sorry on the servers behalf

in our pub doesnt matter if u go to bar or not, if youre drinkin and look young you will be ID'd, we always have plenty floor staff on to make sure of this

thats another thing, i don't really feel too comfortable carrying my license with me!

but if i got id'd for buying a cd, i wouldn't be too pleased to say the least, and in all honesty i would think the seller is having a laugh at my expense and is being a twat!

fair enuf lynny, but it is quite embarrassing when u ahve no ID and u cnt even get served for fags in the middle of a supermarket

but ye, suppose they have to be cautious now but they could had least have a brain amongst themselves and see that i am old enough.

we had a lass come into our bar the other did, she got served all the lads were chattin her up, she asked hwo old they thought she was, they all said 24-27...she was actually 16 working fot the police...BANG fine on the spot

I got ID'd in Cardiff, the first time in about 4 years. Iit doesn't bother me as i know they are only doing their job, i work in an beer shop so i'm the one usually asking people for ID, its a hard judgement to make really, its a shame a few nobs make it harder by kicking off and making it a big issue. Once i've asked for ID i don't give a flying fuck what come out of someones mouth, i aint serving them until i see ID.

My GF's sister was passenger in her own car, her mum was driving. She got out at the filling station to fill up and the woman behind the counter wouldnt turn the pump on. She said children couldn't use the pumps. Shes 20 and it was her own car
