Ah that's what you are up to then selling the Civic.

I thought you were getting an Audi S4 according to your sig on Fez though?

What brakes is your mate with the Blue LET Nova running?

I see should be fun, and something I've been working on for about a year now.

Although I've not got very far due to funds. Got a GSi with no engine and is stripped ready for a re-build, but that's it

They do just fine on my Vec GSi but I haven't got a LET in my Sport so I'll take note

seriously if anyone is thinking about high powered let's or xe's, v6 is no where near enough for the silly speeds the cars can get to.

if you can afford to spend money making the car go fast, its wise to save some of that to make it stop well aswell

The blue Nova Van runs 315 or 308mm discs off an astra coupe, but they are the same as a fiat coupe. With some vauxhall calipers....

Yeah 17's...

I certainly fancy my chance of out braking it lol

I believe they would fit under 16's?

The brakes on the van will fit under 16's just depending on wheels
They are 308mm off an astra
But they don’t stop you as well as I wood have expected no better than the 286mm I have got but will take longer to heat up which is a good thing and a bad thing.

None taken, just not heard about them overheating quite so quickly before. Are the later spec 308mm any better then?

I have noticed that the Sport breaks (standard) don't have any bite to them, anyone recommend some disk and pad setups for the standard calipers? No plans for XE or LET so standard kit is cool.

my LET had v6's on it, they were good. infact they seemed brilliant, even at high speed, although i've never had 4 pots.

might be worth looking into?

the v6's are ok, but, not that i think this is good by the way.....

i had to slow down very quickly from a very high speed on the motorway as an idiot over taking a wagon moved from inside lane to 3rd lane even though nothing in 2nd lane, and my brakes only just managed to slow the car down with smoke and nasty smell. 4 pots would be better

although the above incident was entirely my fault as i shouldnt have been driving fast, no point having a car that can do 0-150 very very fast if its 150-0 is worse than a skateboard
