not a genius, just enjoyed english, maths ... i dont know how i got a B i think i fluked in the exam and statistics i just never got, at all!

Because unless you are completely brain dead most people would be able to get a GCSE result.

Math GCSE A*
English Lit GCSE A
English Lang GCSE A

(rest of my grades were GCSE 6 A*s and 5 As and A Levels at A, A, B, C)

Going on to do a BA Industrial Design and Technology

Math A Level C (i did no work for 2 years focussed on geo, gfx and design)

I did get GCSE passes for the exams I done? My grades were not bad for lack of intelligence, more of a lack of willing and boredom.

GSCE passes are A-C in my oppinion. Anything else isn't worth having, i got a D in French and never bother mentioning it on CV's etc. English Lit GCSE A English lang B Maths B, A level English Lit B

can we plot the Corsa driver/average gcse grade on a graph and see what formulas we could work out

I could collect alot more data and whack it into SPSS and look at correlations WITH confidence scores and everything

What if you are qualified and still need them like me??

Higher maths = B
Higher English = C


Doing automotive engineering at uni so use maths/physics everyday and need to write reports etc so use english skills also.

i have a 2 in english and a 2 in maths, think thats standard grades, when they changed from GCSE to standard grades.

Need maths for my job as it's in electronics, and english i suppose as i talk to ppl all the time on phone and in face, speak to customers etc. Also writing reports and that.

I agree, gcse's were piss easy. I did no work through school and still bagged 10 A-C's.
Don't list gcse's on your cv's by the way people as they take loads of space up and not many employers are bothered about what you did when you were 16.

I got a 2 in maths standard grade and a 3 in english
Left end of 5th year to get a job but wish I had stayed on another year.
Going to college soon anyway and the qualifications Iv got just now got me in so Im ok
