Its the tax on top of it though.
And the tax is a percentage, so as oil prices increase the amount of tax we pay increases.

I dont know for definate, but i guess once they have enough members signed up (say a few thousand, few hundred thousand ) they approach one of the mahor fuel suppliers and tell them they have x amount of people ready to buy their fuel each week so long as they're given a few pence discount

Hell yea, I signed up as I'm curious... But I think we are figting a loosing battle really. The tax thing is there for a reason too.

Care to explain exactly what the tax thing is there for? Over 50% is reported to go on non motor related expenditure.

No a very good friend of mine works for Esso accounts and investment dept. He said he gets the figures out of trade mags etc that they receive.
