no point questioning the BHP its for real
Think its running a full steel lightend and balanced bottom end, extensive headwork and a t34 tyrbo running Omex management with Antilag
SVM286's RST was built over 10 years ago and thats running 286 BHP on standard management

313bhp is tame in a FWD
That would appear to be an old picture though, from when the engine is being built perhaps? There are mats protecting the wings see...

absoloutely love rst's and any turbo'd ford
think is.. if your spending all that money to get 313bhp its a waste unless you can put it down, which you cant in fwd
so id rather spend the money and get a cossie, preferably 4wd

He is indeed such a big gay bear - he truly adores the small white shopping cars and was stuck to that one like sh*t to a blanket.
I'm sure I caught a brief glimpse of him kissing it when he thought nobody was looking.

8 years ago you silly sausage
...and it aint standard management - It still runs the constants pressure system and the ECU is the original unit but she's got bigger injectors, a modified distributor head and the brain was remapped by Severn Valley using a bespoke motorsport chip

14.8 is incredibly good for one of those at the Pod.
The place is surfaced with custard and you cannot get off the line without spinning or bogging down.
Mine spins all the way through 1st and 2nd and is completely hopeless up there due to the lack of adhesion, so for a similar car to get times under 15 seconds is very good.
If it were a 1/2 mile course like the Brighton Speed Trials, it would be a different story and the terminal speed would be monstrous as these cars come into their own on fast roads in 3rd gear upwards.

The Zakspeed Capris made in excess of 420 bhp from 1400cc, so it can be done.

She has a bit of a cold at the mo Rob and is sulking in the garage awaiting a transmission transplant and some other fettling/smallish repairs.
Hopefully should have saved enough and have the Quaife in her by March mate and then N2O a month or so later
