whos alive? if your refering to walt then i highly doubt it was him as he was wearing cargo trousers and shoes when he was taken. i doubt they changed his trousers for some nice shorts and stole his shoes. also, that bear hasnt been seen before? maybe it is another kid from the plane? We do know that the others have a want for children (walt, claires baby, alex)

mabye the people you see are different to the people who took walt, as the "others" you see seem to be primitive, were as the people who took walt had a boat and managed to make some sort of bomb to sink the raft.

ive just seen the episode and my theory now stands at.
the "others" are people who originate from the island. walt uses his special mind gets off the raft and swims to shore out to seek revenge. hence why you see him all soaked.
but three bloody weeks is a nightmare
