Ive got tickets to see him in December at the MEN. 
The only thing i dont like about his live gigs lately is that he plays Roses songs. Last time I went to see him I took the missus...........she was saying after the gig how she had now seen Waterfall live!!!! WTF!!!???

ian brown was in the stone roses, and influenced probably every band that appeared in the 90s.

no it doesnt, as she wasnt as big a star and didnt influence any popular bands.... the reason why you are ignorant is the fact that you dont even know who influenced half of the biggest bands in the world

Like who? Oasis, bands similar to them? I didn't know who he was because i don't follow that kind of music. Im sure there are a few people who don't know who he is/was, i wanted to know so i asked.

i know mate, but its classic and everyone wishes they were still around as a band. id be gutted if i went to watch him and he didnt play the old stuff, because i dont find his new stuff anywhere near the same standards that they set with the Roses

doubt that very much
not into the stone roses oasis, my older sis was so i do hav sum education of that sort of early 90's music
i was always more a blur fan, pop indie in the 90's seen blur live a fair few times
ian brown is playing here 1st dec, i just feel people jump on the bandwagon with ian brown, 'oo he looks kool we'll like him'
