Bout the same you did in the 106 - no shame in that.
He was doing low 14's if I remember reading.
I'm happy with my runs
the only thing that bothers me is that the previous owner ran a flat 15s 1/4 mile in the gti
Im 4 secs off the pace
your car runs 19 sec 1/4

Really - that was you doing a 15.4
that's quite slow for a car in your tune.
I did a 15.6 and my car's estimate around 135 bhp.

and you did a 15.7.... he clearly has the ability to win, 1 second is a hell of a lot on the 1/4 mile!

I ran a 15.07 in my old 138bhp 1.6 8v S2 106 Rallye at Crail.
Maybe you just need to practise your starts Stuart...
I'll need to take the S1 16v Hill Climb/road car down at some point...

Your not best equpped for SQM action are you...
Some 14's and a stripped out rear would help alot.

I did a 15.3 in my car with far less mods than you
I also feel my lambda sensor is fucked and my car is overfuelling big style... hopefully fixing this will lean it all out and gain me that top end power
