now you tell us . I read a post on here about someones crankshaft sensor being fooked, they replaced it and everything is cool. Auxillery belt is the altenator belt

it wouldnt have fucked up the car. Wouldnt the E.M light come on if the crankshaft sensor was broken?

well it didnt come on when i noticed it was burnt, but its taped up now, EM light has never been on while the xe is in, touch wood.
maybe the bulbs broke

well took it up my mates yard, seems it wasnt firing on number 2, spark plug and lead were shagged, got all now leads, new spark plug for number 2. put it in, seems ok, still sounds shit from the zourst (i think)
but now after turning it off and then back on to go home, its same old shit 
the dizzy cap was loose and the contacts inside were dirty, and number 2 looks like its "burntout" maybe this is the problem??
if so, do i just need a new dizzy cap?

put a new dizzy cap and rotor arm in
then replace the crankshaft sensor

been readin up on the "gaps" i didnt gap these, just put em in, then tightend them by hand, so wtf is gapping them supposed to do? or is it the gap on the spak plug?

gap on spark plug, 0.8mm for xe and tighten with a ratchet not by hand, lol

lol forgot to mention, we screwd them in by hand then tighted them with a ratchet, but only turned them half a turn.
got new dizzy cap and rotor arm, see if my problems are solved
