8.5 seconds, remember itll be fastish but you still need 3rd gear to hit 60 which will slow you down, the 106 gti can hit 60 in 2nd, helps it slightly

all turbos have intercoolers of sorts, some are bigger than others, yes you will have an intercooler, worth doing? no, easier and cheaper to get a conversion

not worth it imo, can get more reliable power from a set of throttle bodies which will cost the same.... not all turbos need an I/C but its benificial

yes thats how it works but you dont need an intercooler, look at some td's they dont have one the old s12 silva didnt have one

no thats true.... conversion is £1500 drive in drive out for a 2ltr.

a grand wont get it fitted properly, you will have to uprate internals, your looking at 3k for a proper job
get it fitted for a grand but i guarantee either you'l be forking out every week for rebuilds OR youl get some low pressure pish and wont make it much quicker
