explain
in fact, the third paragraphs proves how shit it is http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/24valve.htm
Just because it's got cosworth stamped on it doesnt necessarily make it any good.

No such thing i'm afraid - the standard Ford V6 has 12 valves and is of a completely different design.
The 24V was built completely new and with overhead camshafts, specifically by cosworth for Ford to give their flagship executive cruiser some more refinement, torque and power.
The engine is immensely tunable and Power Engineering for example offered (and probably still do) a modified 3.7 litre version that was very powerfull and simply shocking when fitted with a Turbo Technics twin turbo conversion

The majority of your Sierras are proper rough smokey dustbins!!!
If it's fifteen years old it would be a Sierra - but hey, it's nearly legal for a women, so it's got to be a good for a car
An Escort would be between 9 and 12, and the passage of time is fairly academic as they're well built and usually owned by fanatics, and in better condition than most 1 to 3 year old cars that I see on a daily basis.
You're also paying for heritage and a racing/rallying pedigree, and most importantly of all - the rule of supply and demand, i.e. there are many more people wanting Cosworths than there are cosworths for sale, so sadly, it's a sellers market and the prices stay high

Misinformed i'm afraid - people like that couldn't afford one, because they're usually signing on and then spending their dole and their days in the pub playing darts and drinking Carling

SVM - you're well and truely gay! Unlike most people that enthusiastic about something, post a worth reading reply then fuck off from the thread, you on the other hand seem to be continuing to post shite, which is pointless and wasteful on this thread, as well as quoting and changing peoples replies to for some reason to make it sound like this car is worth buying - which, lets be frank, is shite...infact shite is too much of "nice" word for something that looks like it has fallen out of sassys backside
now, do the honors and fuck off

Sorry Jake, you appear to have me at a bit of a disadvantage there mate - i've read the third paragraph carefully and it seems to confirm quite the opposite, namely what a good engine it is
Have you linked the correct article? this one seems to be singing it's praises (understandably - great little lump )

How do you figure that mongrel? SVM286 mearly posts up mild banter which is quite humourous yet stating the truth. If you could actually read you will notice that many of the posts are constuctive and informative giving an more angled response than the typical "oh thats shit" responses whch is the norm from such gimps like yourself

ive never doubted or questioned SVM knowledge to any degree, which is spot on - but if you read my reply, which im sure you have , you will see that im talking about the fact of re-quoting to make something that it isnt, is NOT funny
personally, the car looks old and boring, it may have a brillaint engine but the granada is far from being light - therefore, its not exactly performance BEAST is it
like you say, its all banter, and surely someone like you Fad would have reaslised this is the internet, far from reality
