Lost Prophets,silverchair,machine head, are all cool. Depens what you are into,I listen to most styles,blues,rock,rap etc just to hear different beats. You can pick up loads of stuff just by listening

yeah the stuff i usually listen to i imagine will be pretty hard to pick up but hey depends how i get on with it

i got my self a bass guitar at xmas, loving it. Get a program called Guitar pro and download tabs from www.mysongbook.com, awesome program that makes learning songs piss

play a bit of the acoustic and electric..
just on and off playing really..

its easy to learn, but you'll need to stregthen your fingers, just take the pain and keep going!

I've played for about 9years, i used to just play accoustic, but moved on to electric, i like playing lead though, i dont really like strumming along. Im considering selling 2 of my guitars though,cos i only play my favourite
