Hey junior long time no see.
I've got to agree why do they bother, especially the one's with 1.2 8v's...
at work the other day this guy with a 1.2 8v was cussing the 1.0 saying haha even I have a bigger engine than that... I had to correct him that the 1.0 has more power than his shit heap. Which I may add he fucked up by pulling a handbrake turn in the staff car park.
1 word - Chav.
I agree with others though, I used to race things in my corsa for the reason I wanted to see them gun it - not because I felt I had a chance.
Now in my Gti, I don't really race

^^^ oh also someone else was sitting at the table... and the chav said 'How does the 1.0 have more power?'
this other person said 'Because its lighter'.
I just laughed at them both and explained it was due to number of valves per cylinder - you could see it wooosh straight over their heads.
The guy who said it was because its lighter then said how even his 1.3 8v fiesta gets beaten by 1.25 fiesta's therefore it must be fucked 
Once again I explained the valve thing and they once again looked puzzled. I hate people like that

Well I wouldnt let a 152 focus get away from me lol.
I normaly get people trying to race me. How I laugh when those pathetic vtr's pull along side reving. Would someone please tell these idiots some corsa's have 16v 1.6 engines. One guy leaned out of his saxo and shouted "Get something with power".
BTW had my fair share of focus drivers get up my arse, and then ive floored leaving them to eat my dust.

It is not my reg number! hasn'r been for years!
And as i said focus is not for speed!! Is quick enough for what it is needed for.
