If that's true, then he deserves all he got for running (and it's probably the reason he did), and it's taxpayer money saved because we don't have to fork the bill to deport him...

they were plain clothes police though, and if some bloke who wasnt dressed as a copper was waving a gun in my direction, it do a runner aswell. poor chap.

Shouldn't have run from the police. Certainly shouldn't have run from armed police, and how dumb do you have to be to run into an underground station this soon after the bombings. The fact he had nothing to do with it is bad but now the fact the are apologising sends another weak message to the world

a black person who carries a bag on their shoulders in a tube station after seeing the recent events is ignorant and asking for trouble, why invite police attention? especially ARMED police ??? imo, send all the imogrants back to where they came from, and dont let sod all people into our country !! - imagine if we went over there !! - shot within a week !!  they come over here and start killing random people !! why kill innocent people with kids etc?? if they are angry at something political/religious they shud take it up with the people in power !! not the innocent public ! wankers

Mike corsa. You dont seem to know what you are talking about.
The guy they shot dead did not have a bag, he was not black.
He had been under survailance for a few days. Was followed just over two mile from his house on to a bus and in to the train station.
When he got to the train station he was asked to stop by armed police. He then jumped the ticket barrier and the police gave chase.
The armed police were told shoot to kill. Place at lease one shot in to the mouth to cut the spinal cord. They were using low volicty bullets so no real threat to any one else.
The guy was doing his job.

I agree with they were right to shoot, i mean come on you dnt run from armed police! But was 7 shots to the head really needed?? We will neva know but this must have something to do with why the police officers involved are not allowed to use firearms again!

I think the coppers got a bit gun-ho. No need for 7 shots in any situation. ive seen wot guns can do and 1 shot in the head is all it needs from a trained armed police officer.

Turn your back on armed Police in London, and then run away jump a barrier wearing a winter coat in the middle of summer and you have dark skin your asking for trouble.

I don't think such a big deals been made about the shooting tbh, i think we're just saying we're sorry to look like we care, but we dont really. They have to do their little investigation bit, i think people just panic that the police force are gonna get too much power and run round shooting everyone, its ridiculous.

"Police stop dont move" - created suspicion upon himself. Police are setting a standard that they are no push over so well done. My only negative view is why so many bullets? Theres little evidence to say he had a bomb once they had jumped on him...

Why so little bullets IMO.
If I was in that situation and I had the Glocks they had I would have emptied the 12 round mag in his head just for the sake of it, might have starting shooting random people as well
