I remember when I was th the Great Warbirds airshow in 1992 (at Wroughton) and a vulcan literally crept up on the audience an then let rip.,... everyone jumped an hid

raf dont use them anymore i assume, we have an airshow once a year in folkestone but the highlight is the ww2 lancaster, spitfire & hurricane formation and B17 & mustang. where are they still flying vulcans?

There not, XH558, which was the fisrt bmk2 vulcan stopped flying in 92, its being rebuilt at bruntingthorpe buy the OEM to hopefully fly in the future, then after its 10 year flying life it will live in a purpose built hanger at duxford

also XM598 (the pic of the one above was its back up plane) is gate gurdian at bruntingthrope, this was the plane that flew something like a 22000 mile bombing run when they bombed port stanley airfield
