Rent £325
council tax £100
Gas £20
Water £20
Electric £20
House phone and internet £80
House insurance £20
then all the other stuff

Probably around £625 with all the bills. Then you have food but i eat out most of the time anyway.

I mean I know it's your own place and an investment, where as my £200 is just dead money...but still...

Yes you have your own freedom but there is so much more you need to do. Washing, cooking, cleaning, and remembering to pay things. You can't just leave the house in the morning, you have to tidy up becasue you know when you get back home it will be a mess still.

that's no different for me at the moment, i have to iron, etc.

I could move out if I had some reliable mates who also wanted to, like a 3 person house share or maybe even two but I wouldn't move into any old shit hole, anywhere decent for me is £450 + a month. My mate's bro lives HERE can rent them 2 bedroom for £550 a month well nice.
