They are not slow and the build quality is not shocking.

Its a 190bhp car with post-build bodywork. Its also rare and cool, has boss seats, is the right colour and will resell well. Good car.

As vibs said get a LCR

I remember EVO mag saying somethign along the lines of "the astra coupe 888, how to spoil a perfectly nice looking car".

They look like they should have 300bhp, sadly they dont.

limited maybe, good looking, but like said it doesnt have the power that it looks like it should

saying that though, if its only 500 nicker more then its a bargin and i would get it, then spend some swedge on getting the power that it deserves

tell me whats so great then? they look good? ok i dont buy a car on looks alone, they handle well? wats the point in handling well without the power to match, my old 1.2 used to handle well, but i doubt that was a great car

the only real advantage i can see in it is its rarity

i like them, have a normal coupe turbo in same colour, have put GSi front end on it FMIC soon. Understand the point about power, had one come up next to me leaving pvs obviously nothing in it but the 888 looks like it should leave mine for dead, personal choice at the end of the day, got my turbo for £5950 which leaves extra cash for engine mods

For me it only fills 2 out of 3 criteria that classifies a great car, looks, handling, and performance

Has the looks and the handling without the performance which isnt good enough for me to class it a great car

Looks much better than a standard coupe and has that rarity - get it brought

As for performance... I wouldn't say 190bhp and a 0-60 of around 7 seconds is hardly slow.
