doing over 100mph is supposed to be an instant ban,
Because i've done alot of research into the matter and as i said, 6 points is pretty much standard practice for that kind of speed.
Doing over 100 is not supposed to be a ban..

You should note that these are only guidelines and the magistrates can deviate from them.
As far as fines are concerned speeding carries a maximum fine of £1,000 (£2,500 if speeding on a motorway). The guidelines also lay down fines which are very much dependant upon your income.

Obvious providing it's true.
I've just overtaken a Transit van in my pic so no other traffic isn't applicable in my case and it'll only look bad on me if i say it..

Yeah of course, only if it is the case. There are few examples of arguing like that working, most notable the 158mph officer in the new car on a clear motorway, and it even applies to accidents. My brother won a case against a guy who said he didn't see him and wasn't paying attention to the position of other cars on the road. May as well have just said 'it was all me, sue me now'.

Did you not see him til it was too late? Or not see him at all? I had a close shave with speeding, now i'm really careful. Although I don't consider 80mph on a motorway speeding, even though obviously it is.
