Ian... that's pretty much what I've just read in the staff book I have from when I started there... but it also says regardless of status or age ALL relationships with persons recieving services from Leeds City Council must be avoided at all costs...

Also says aload of shit about refusing food/drink, gifts and other stuff like lifts ect

after reading this thread im glad i dont work in a pupil/teacher environment or i wouldve lost my job a long long time ago

Does the same rule apply for pupils parents? I'm doing my placement in a primary school, think of all those young Mums

I think it applies to any position of responsibility (manager, supervisors etc) where the other person is under 18.

Obviously not the answer to that question^^^^^^

I think you're safe... both parties have to want it, other wise it's rape, and that's bad... so the chances of any of them hot mums wanting it off you are prety slim, wouldn't you say?
