Join a gym, thats what I did and I actually enjoy going. It's something to do and relatively cheap. Plus you'll feel better within a couple of weeks if you go regularly. Been going 5 weeks now and still liking it. Although I didn't go today as i'm a sun burnt and it hurts like fuck

I had to join the gym for my a-level P.E. Had to do a 3month workout and plan etc. predict results etc.etc. then summarise at the end for a large part of the course.
I joined, went once and then had to make everything up for my final write up as i never went again. Im not really into all this going to the gym stuff.

I was really really fit/toned over the summer just gone, i was cycling loads, and doing many laps in our pool everyday, as well as jogging when i felt in the mood, and a few hundred sit-ups/push-ups/chin-ups a day. Since its got cold though i havent done anything and all the hard work is gone. Just started again now though ready for the summer, just bought new bike and couldnt believe how unfit i had got in a few months. really struggled to do a hard ride for 30mins.
Will push through the barrier though and back to my old self in a matter of weeks.
My metabolism is extremely high, so i can eat loads and just turn it into muscle rather than fat when im exercising.

ive joined the gym last week to get in shape.
glad ive done it cos ive only been twice over my first week but ive really enjoyed it and ive never ever been into fitness and exercise.
for me its a personal goal to get fit and a little bit more toned, and will take a lot of self discipline to do so its gonna be worthwhile IMO

Its recently started to concern me that, combined with my poor choice of diet at inappropriate times, my lack of exercise will catch up with me as i get older and im gonna become a fat cunt. Thought i'd have a shot at a few press ups/sit ups see how i get on. 25 push ups and i was fucked, but worst of all, i only managed 30 sit ups, whereas i used to be able to do like 300+ sit ups and 50-60 press ups when i was 15/16 years old.
Its well shocking how unfit I've become. I blame work, I used to play 4 cricket matches a week when I was at school, so far this year ive not played a single match. Same with hockey, not played for years now.
really sucks, so am gonna try do something about it. doubt it'll last long before i chuck the towel in mind!
If thats your misses in your avatar id be worried about my fitness too.
How are you keeping up 'in the sack' ?

i was thinkin this. wouldnt press ups and sit ups etc increase strength and muscle?
things like running would increase fitness wouldnt it?
cos im strong, can do bout 40 - 50 pushups, but cant run! i jus get knackered quickly

Im being perdantic, here push ups are no means of strength indication either.
Deadlift, squat, bench is. Using body weight proves nothing. I dip/pull ups with +30kg on top of my weight
