my dog had to be put down few months back too
i was at airport at time
it had a fit and when taken to the vet they said cancer was the cause
miss him like mad tho.
got a pup now but it not the same

when they tell you that there's no other option you get this horrible hot feeling. a bit like when you have a broken heart but worse.
your whole body goes hot and you become numb. i had to put my arm round his neck while the vet injected him in the arm. the vet nearly gave me the injection!
in a way it was good to watch him die, it was sooo peaceful and helped me deal with the process.
i'm not a fan of death myself. i'm a veggy and don't even wear leather!

 Ade i couldnt have let anyone put my dog down, i know its selfish. But i would have killed anyone who tried to harm the little waddling monster
