I personally wouldn't buy a property with someone else; if you split up, you're screwed, but if you got the place on your own name, and she fucks you off, you can tell her to go and not worry about 'who gets to live in the place'!

i live away from my folks with my misses and we decided to rent first just to see if its worth the commitment of buying a house together....also it means i can spunk money on stupid stuff and then try and save for a house.
Sam, if they have lived there for a et amoutn of time, think its 12months, then they can claim so much of the propertty
