Ah well, it also seems that somone has removed my ECU case... Do superchips fit into the ECU like LET tuning chips do? I know it doesn't have one now, but I think it might have done once before

Ah well, anyone know what to do with the red and black wire in the footwell yet? Oh and do I need to connect that red plug up to anything. The M Tech instruction book says it needs to be connected to a 12v + supply I think...... Although I have used he battery connections off of the loom too... I'm confuzzled.

Right, the black plug id for the relay in the engine bay, just tested it with a wire and a fuse... When I connect it to the batt the relay clicks and the ECU turns on! So it needs to be attatched to a switched live.... Where do I find one of them? Behind the head unit?

Also, my starter motor does nothing when I turn the key, I used the Corsa starter motor loom......

I connected the red wire to the alternator + and the blue and white wire to the aux, or something - forget what it was labled as, the other pin on the alternator. The starter motor only had one wire going into it on the Corsa loom, that was red and black (two wires twisted together I think) and I plugged in the rest of the plugs back into the loom...

Yea, I get the impression there is a red and black wire that also connects to the starter. Not sure if it's a signal or an earth or what.................... It is thin.

I think I have missed something out on the wiring for sure... I connected the brown wire that goes straight to the earth to another part of the engine, I guess that needs to go straight onto the starter motor bolt? There isn't anything else that attatches to the starter motor apart from those two things?

i'm lost if you use the corsa wiring loom you shouldnt need to find any switched anything as the wires are all there think thats why mr mitchel is telling you to use the corsa starter loom so that theres no chopping/changing/searching
