The irony of this is do a quote on a 1.6 focus and it'll work out cheaper, or even a 2 litre vectra or something for that matter.

There unfortunately isn't a way for younger drivers not to get robbed on insurance in the UK nowadays.

Do you have to declare anything with CIS then or don't you mind? I don't have lots of money or I would have bought Paul_J's wheels from him!!

CIS says :We cannot offer you an online quote if:

You or any driver of the vehicle, has had 2 or more convictions between you in the last five years.
You or any driver of the vehicle, has had 2 or more accidents or losses between you in the last four years.
The vehicle has been modified or personally imported into the UK.
The vehicle is currently worth more than £75,000 or is more than 30 years old.
The vehicle will be used for hiring, racing, rallies, competitions or trials.
Does that mean I should ring for a qote?

It's always better to ring usually anyway.

How long ago did you pass? maybe you should do pass plus - a easy 6 hr course that you can't fail - but should reduce insurance a bit.

Also pay £12.50 for premium membership on this site and then you can get up to 15% off with adrian flux.

Adrian flux I declared all mods on my 106 gti and they added 0.

but I don't think they like people under 19.
