i found the extra pitch on the stanton str8-100's very useful actually, specially mixing accapella's with dnb, or hardcore to dnb, gabba to hardcore and all visa versa.. even did a bit of garage acapella mixed with hard house

Yep, extra speed controls are very handy. Guess it depends on the type of music and typing of mixing you are doing. My Pioneer CD Deck has +/- 100% lol, fantastic.
