He will always choose a Championship team over a League 1 team but i guess Southend on the up and fairly local interested him. Anyhow Southend couldn't afford the wages he was after i beleive.
It now looks like we are signing a local lad who supports Southend and lives very near me who is an ex Millwall player called Neil Harris.. He has good experience and could be a great signing !
I don't know why we don't look into signing Juan Ugarte from Wrexham.

WTF no it was'nt, they offered him a 1 year deal but he wanted 2 years, he left and signed for us as Reading are minnows.

uv been readin the sun i take it, celtic dont want riordan they are about to sign a polish striker for 2 million and have bigger fish to fry than an untried youngster at a high level.
Zurawski has scored against real madrid at the bernabau, riordan hasnt even started a game for scotland it says it all.

Signing Parkin and Forster will now attract other players to Ipswich as it shows our intention for next season even though we have got rid of a load.
TBH I think we will be better next season and it seems Big Fat Joe has another annoucement of ANOTHER signing tomorrow

I think palace have also made some good signings but it will now all come down to whether we keep AJ or not 
Ipswich aint hanging about in the transfer window though, couple of good signings there.
Predictions are as follows:
Palace to win league
Norwich runners up
Ipswich will win playoffs.

portaloos mate, thats all you get and as for making a day of it, well there is fuck all in south norwood to do. We generally get there about 11 and go for a meal before going up and waiting for the players to arrive.

i have serious doubts about norwich, fear they could do a leeds and get stuck in championship.
Southampton 4/1
Crystal Palace 5/1
Norwich City 6/1
Wolverhampton Wanderers 6/1
Ipswich Town 12/1
Leeds United 12/1
Ladbrokes prices, the one thing that is against southampton is they havent played in div1/championship in ages, however palace went up 03/04, and i cant remember when Southampton did. Its as we know, very hard to get a string of wins together, will they manage to cope?

I honestly can't see Ipswich doing well this year, they haven't even signed a keeper yet !
Also it will take time for the team to gel again, a little like Chelsea had to do.

WTF, we don't need a keeper do you think we would have sold Davis if we had a problem covering the problem?
Lewis Price when he played last season was so good that there was doubts Davis was going to get back in the team after getting injured.
We only sold him so we had some transfer funds to replace Kuqi & Bent, and IMO Sam Parkin is better than Kuqi and Forster will do a job, probably not better than Bent but will score goals.
We still have around £500,000 to spend on a midfielder and defender (not so desperate for a midfielder as we have a lot of youth players to fill that position).
Would be good to get Unsworth back, think Big Fat Joe is going to have a word with him about taking a pay cut to come play for us for a season.
