but yes, whilst i was up there i heard lots of people use the words aye, champian, charvas, grand, lad, la ma pa......worse thing is, i started to use some of those words down here, people think im crazy

Yea its like our accent i think and just the way we use the words

Although when we talk people think we are from Newcastle, when we dont sound like them

thing is, you do...you darlo people have a hint of geordie - although i found the propper chavs to be worse than the others

still, i had a herd time speaking to some people, especially in clubs - they thought i was being a twat when asking them to repeat stuff

gordie accent on lass's is ace, same with scotish, talk abit fast like but after spending a few hours with them you can start to understand lol.

well that was a blonde thing to say if you live in a place long enough, of course you can understand the other people and believe that you dont have an accent...its the same for everyone

i like a bit of northen, but darlo is too far north and geordie is too mashed for me.....canne beat the irish accent though

On holiday we spoke to people from Warrington, Preston and Bolton and a few more from NorthWest and their accent was weird to understand, they had different meanings for words

They use the word sket, weak and wat a lot and just some words are words we use like we say "i will aii" being sarcastic about doing something but they use it being serious
