surely even if your statement that the quicker you gain size, the quicker you'll lose it - muscle memory will back it up once you restart

the general priciple is 3:1 to the rate of progression.
although is rate is applied to aerobic capacity on a regualr basis it also exists in strength training.
but in my experience it will be much lower maybe 5:1 or more for general sterength training.
muscle memory take a period of time, and refers more to muscle fibre recruitment than muscle fibre itself. although yes your correct, this will help

Getting these bad on shoulders/lats.
Ive found they are getting better using Nivea(Sp) 3 times a day ! seems to have taken the deep colour away
