maybe then again i can hear other weird shit that people cant as well - like when a shaver/elec toothbrush is charging, power supplies (especially the coil jobbies on new moby phone chargers).....

I can hear the T.V. downstairs when some dope has turnt the sky off and not the T.V. from upstairs. And mobile phone chargers, cant say I have heard bluetooth though.

aye, its really weird....but we're all frying our brains using moby's, so i dont think a little bit of bluetooth on top will harm

Blue tooth is radio. So the waves are about half a mile long.
So low freq, therefore its total harmless

bluetooth works at 2.45GHz (2.45billion cycles per second), so the waves are really small

well it dont really do anything on its own, its just a connection type between one device ( phone ) and another ( say a blue tooth head set)

it also allows u to send data from one phone to another like a pic or a video clips.

it will however gradually drain the batterly if u have it on all the time but there can be no harm in doing so, unless " someone hacks into it " like mentioned b4..

wouldnt be suprised - like i was saying i get headaches if mines on, really weird. Plus i can tell if someone has bluetooth on on their phones/pc etc as i get a ringing sensation in the back of my ears, like you can hear when a tv is on but there isnt a picture (high pitched sound).

i think ive been abducted by aliens in the past and they have shoved something in me

that is freaky... I get this as well.

Can tell when a telly has been turned on without seeing it because I can hear the high-pitched whine.

It's a lot harder for people to "hack" into it if it's not set to be discoverable though, isn't it?

that can still be bypassed but yea i guess its bit more of a challange for the normal cracker then compared to a talented one.

no, if you pair devices in a private location and you have both set to "hide" then yea its fine, but what im saying is that you can pretend to be a device and then force a re-pairing with it - without the person even knowing. Plus, once they have the bluetooth id of a device they can "snif" traffic between that and another device - its obviously a lot harder than pressing a few buttons, but it is a rather insecure protocol.
