yeh im gona go for it, spoke to parents n they said do it, its true about experience though. all jobs say experience needed, but you cant get a job to get experience
£750 isnt too bad though, as luckily my parents are supportive and pay for my car, and dont charge me rent. so that £750 wil go straight into my pocket, mmm beer money
its jus so dis-heartening though, retard 16 yr olds at Sainsburys earn more than me
but he has said its no way staying that low, just need to get the work in go raise the profits and im away

If you were really stuck you could work weekends with the retards, would give you less time to spend your cash too!

he can only offer me £5 hr at the mo, doing 37 hours a week. works out as £750 a month before tax
i was getting payed more at JD Sports
but thing is, its the only thing i want to do, plus its 5min drive from home and i can go home at lunchtime.
just a lil bit dissapointed to be honest.
he said that he wants to pay me double what hes offered me, but the account has told him to hold back at first to see how things go. he expects to take alot more work on though.
the way i look at it is its £750 more than im gettin at the moment, would still preferred more tho
look at it this way your young, unqualified and your wanting mega bucks. I feel you need to sit back and smell the coffee. take the job and see what happens

Agree, i have decided to start an apprenticeship for Qantas, pay is shit, and the work will be tricky, but it will be worth it for the future, doing something thats interesting for me and shit like that. deal with the 750 for the time being, and wait for the better stuff to roll in. you gotta roll with the punches man

I was offered a temp 5 week job doing Alias CAD work in Essex, vehicle interiors, that kinda thing. All lodgings provided, laptop to work on, and £27/hr wage. Woulda worked out to be about £3600 after tax for my time there I think. That dried up tho and I'm working with Prodrive atm, which is even more fun as you get to play with Scooby bits

i never mentioned mega bucks though. i never said i wasnt unqualified, and just because im young doesnt mean i should be on a low pay.

my dad randomly met the mum of the owner of the company at a business conference. had a chat, asked if i could do some work experience, sorted that out for 2 weeks. 3 days into it he said he wanted to offer me a job.
its all about who u know mate, i had NO replies from the 50-70 CVs i sent out, not even a phone call.
theres a loada magazines in a building in Orpington mate, i had 2 job interview their, was too qualified for the 1st, and got the 2nd one, but turned it down. They take on people for work experience. heres the website:
http://www.highburyleisure.co.uk/
i had an interview for Gardeners monthly there, but they jus wanted a layout person, and not a designer
they do loads tho, fast car, fast bikes etc.
