Can't believe someone used a Cosworth to tow, that's criminal

Not as criminal as writing off an Escort Cosworth though

looking at the pics of both i prefer the saph to the Scrot aswell

It's just the Colour of the Saph i hate!! It's magenta Red IIRC (believe the Scrot Coss Monte carlo was same colour) fooking horrid colour!!

Faced withthe choice of any Sierra Coss or an Escort Coss the RS500 Sierra would win hands down

Don't make me send Charlie and the boys round in the big blue removal van James.

How many times have you climbed behind the wheel of the lupo or the corsa through the boot?

my list

3 door: the orginal and best
RS500: superb, 8 injector set up as standard if you know what to do
Saph 2WD: so many been written off though as usall first step into cossie ownership and not many ppl know how dangerous they are
saph 4WD: safer than above
escort big turbo : a wide escort with a saph floorplan welded to it, T3, genius
escort small turbo: a soft version of above, no ware near as good IMO, but more drivable

Yes..

but he was wanting to Compare the Saph with what ever car was nicest...

RS 500..
Sierra RS Cos (which is the 3 door)
Escort Cos (all variants)

I was merely saying that those cars were better looking that the Saph without going into any great detail of engine spec Anyways no matter what the Spec was all saphs looked the same and all Scrot's looked the same
