Consider yourself perminantly black listed and dont ever expect to get a mortgage after that though

I would never pay for a protection plan. I have a mortgage & a loan I have no payment protection on either. What is the point in throwing money away when you can use it to pay off the loans.

ppi only covers you if u get made redundant or become ill so u cant work. If u were fired for gross misconduct then it wont cover you!

If you are covered they will pay your payments (not the full amount) for 12 months!

If you die they will clear the loan completely.

some bollocks getting talked in here.

If you take out payment protection, there is different benefits depending on cover.

Accident, sickness and redundancy.

They WILL make your payments for a set period usually 12 months...
Usually has to be at least 3-6 months after cover taken out.

If anything happens they make the payments for you......

I have payment protection on most things just incase something happens...
