I havent tried it with any 172's had one race witha ctr but we didnt get the chance to go above 80.........just aswell really

GTE is 1032kgs

my sound system probably weighs another shoot load

Obviously all corsas differ with Specs etc, but its around the 950kgs mark...

Haynes is generally a load of crap... thinking about it... I think my 1032 is a haynes figure, but i cant remember

I always get scared of taking the astra to the weighbridge near us as its always FULL of police. Now all the rusty rotness is gone I can head straigh down there!

Daimos car was about 1000kgs with flase floor and an XE IIRC

I didn't realise CTR's were quicker than 172's... thought they were about the same... Quite a few mates with 106 gti's with decat exhausts and induction kits have beaten a CTR / pretty level with CTR down the strip... of course after that the CTR leaves them miles behind.

Less power as I don't have Mantzel YET.

But I had a race recently with Sly_SRi's GSi with Dblias inlet and I kept with him easily, had we continue to go faster I would have gone past quite easily.
