yesh, tried the steam forums cant see anyone else with the same problem tho.
Actually, i dont think it did this before i updated the drivers, ill try going back to the old ones!
Ive never updated my MoBo drivers either, would this be worth doing?

If there is an updated CPU to AGP controller driver (if its a VIA chipset there probably is) then yes. Also have you made sure ur mobo is set to AGP8X?

yea find out what mobo it is and what chipset, go to the chipset manufacture website and download the motherboard drivers  Also, might be worth having a butch on your mobo website and see if any of the bios updates correct anything connected with the graphics card
But yeah, it might be a good idea to revert back to previous driver versions for the graphic card and see if that solves it - although, if your having problems and canne find any info on google, forums etc then i would check your heatsink - take it off, get a cotton bud with meths and gently run around the contacting chips etc. Then apply a thin layer of ARTIC silver paste (its the best stuff tbh)
