Its an official thing to have a star if youve won either of the cups you dont just wake up and decide to put 1 on.

Arsenal have won european cup but dont have a star cant b so offical

Its not the law you have to put it on thats down to individual clubs discretion, but having the right to do it is an official sanctioned tradition

if you win a cup you have the right to a star, you have the option to waive that right, its not a mickey mouse idea sum1 dreamed up, thats what i meant by saying it was official.

If you like ill go hunting for the fifa and uefa rulebooks and get the exact wording for you but lets not nit pick.

Why shout about a Vicious Copyright breach when Rangers copied the France Shirts for a while with only minor Differences I just think your a bit sour after the last post about the Pope and want to be a dick about things... Obviously your a tim yourself and are still feeling the after affects of Saturday and are in a bad mood

I'm not bothered about the fact these other teams have the Stars was just wondering why they have turned up now? (hence the after are all copying bastards)

England's is for the world cup they won!!!

Anyone else surprised to see who would end up competing for the Scottish league title this year? I was astounded. Definetly didn't see that one coming.

No they haven't

Brazil/Nike started the trend off hence why Juve have them, Rangers, etc all Nike Kits.

Real are Addidas and Utd must have chose not to.

The only reason England have it is Soccer AM did a thing for weeks on it to get a star on the England Shirt.

this was started by Rangers releasing shirts commemrating their 50th Championship win which is currently a world record

Would they have this record if they played in a more competative league?

Almost 50 years after you won the first of you leagues you decide to boast about it now, so your argument there is foolish.

Winning the league in Scotland is not an achievement that you can be over proud of theres only 2 teams that can win it in recent years and a handful since its formation.

IS it a foolish argument??

Rangers put five stars on their shirt at the end of the 2002-2003 league season after they won their 50TH Championship, It's a world record, 1 star represents 10 league Championship wins, it would be foolish of rangers to boast about 1 champion ship win 50 years ago, but instead we boast about holding a WORLD RECORD of championships ins.. Ok the SPL isnt competitive now but if you look 50 years back it was very competitive and the league produced some top quality players, The leagues demise nowadays isnt down to the clubs in my opinion it's down to the management of the league there is no consistency!!

Why put on one to represent a league championship won 50 years ago??? Why put a star on your top to represent a European cup win 38 years later?? why put one on to represent a world cup win 39 years later??

The fact of the matter is Rangers done it for the Fans to wear with pride i can only remember ONE game were the stars were on the players shirts and that was the Scottish Cup Final.. now celtic and England have it on their top every Game....

Show me a Picture of a Rangers Shirt worn by the Team with the Five Stars on during a league match

Now your just getting petty, you can have your stars just dont fool yourself into thinking it was a rangers idea that has been adopted by other clubs.

Celtic nvr copied rangers, the opposite is actually true but as you see the world through orange tinted glasses feel free to live a lie.
