Doing as much as i can myself, im gonna pay someone to do the engine conversion, and the respray, but its more fun doing it yourself! I got the silver one for £1900 with only 31k on the clock, and i can sell the bodykit, 3 of the wheels, neons, stereo, and rear lights, so made a bit of money back too

Removed the front suspension now too, and the brakes (apart from the disk, i need an impact driver cos its pretty tight!) and fitted one of the FK coilovers but getting a new one for the other side as it got damaged in the accident.

Removed the front and rear bumpers (took aaaages, they were well secured Richie! ), roughly fitted the new front bumper just with two screws till its ready to be properly fixed on.

Fitted the new smooth boot which took longer than expected, not a hard job but quite fiddly!

Also stripped the doors down ready to swap over as mine are all sound deadened, the new car has a little bit of damage on the door, and its easier just to swap them over!

BTW Richie, no idea what you used to stick the drivers side window winder on with, but it took about 10 minutes to get it off! The Reyland 4 pots should be here this week, and the new suspension strut asap, then it should be off for to the bodyshop not long after that. Only problem is im going back to uni on sunday and i know its gonna take a while till its all done!

Fitted the rear bumper today too after my mate finished work, wasnt planning on doing anything but its better than nothing!

Gonna change the doors over tomorrow hopefully, brakes should be here very soon, and the engine is going back in on may 22nd if all goes to plan. I'll be back soon! (In time for PVS )

Right, little bit more progress.. Car is going to the bodyshop tomorrow, and i finally decided on the suzuki blue. Fitted the 4 pots, had to grind a tiny bit off the suspension arm (about 1mm) on one side, but part from that no problems, and they look great! Swapped the wheels back over, one needs to be replaced but its good enough to get it to the bodyshop. Ordered some BMW M6 wing mirrors and a bad boy carbon fiber bonnet, hoping to get it back in 2 weeks done, then got the engnine going in on may 17th by J1400 off here, so its finally starting to come together.
Few pics anyway...

Compared to the astra gte 256mm setup...
