say the prce of fuel is 84p a litre as thats what it is round mine way, so pug nut on 20 quid bought 23.8 litres of fuel which works out at about 6.28 gallons

which means if you did 450 miles on that your saxo is capable of 71 to the gallon

i dont believe it is

Fuel light come on so i put £20 in and reset the mileage thingy. Then the light come back on and i checked the mileage and it said 449. Needs some petrol but i'm to tight to put any in and too lazy to go out.

corsa-1.4 8v £20 = 240miles on a run,160 ish round town

celica-2L 16v £20 =150 miles on a run, 115 around town.

a 1.1 saxo would not do 450 miles to £20 , why not you post this on saxosportsclub and they will laugh at you

In the Corsa 1.2 16v, over 200 unless I thrash it.
In the Astra 1.6 16v about 180 but that is commuting as well as lots of town driving.

sassy for example, 90 miles off 20 quid (2.0 8v with cam and shite), while marcs scooby is doing 100 (2.0 16v turbo, not standard)

20 quid, im averaging around 17.24miles
