Nah, serious! Out of all my cars the Scooby has cost me the least! I just dont get the urge to mod it at all! 
The best mod I have got so far is an Escort "Cabaret" 1.4! Drive that to work all week and the P1 feels awesome when i get chance to use it at weekends!!!
i think the secret is to just buy a fast as fook car to begin with....
dont do what i've done... buy a 1.2 corsa and just change the various different engine sizes when ya get board of the power....

Know what you mean, my old Corsa started as a 1.5TD..........£15k later and it was a 2.1 litre with throttle bodies!! 
Should have bought summat fast out of the box a long time ago!
