a company we sub contract for, in there work theres 2 asian (sp) lads there and all the other workers call them "paki" rather than there names

for example "oi paki put the kettle on double quick"

As a Scottish person from Scotland I don't take offence to being called a "Scot"
So should a Pakistani person from Pakistan take offence to being called a "Paki"?
I can see it would be offensive calling an Indian a Paki... would be like me being called English just because I'm from Britain etc.

It all depends what i am called first.

I would never dream of saying it, but a couple of weeks ago, me and the wife where out, and some asiain lad started chatting her up, Naturaly i said something and he comes out with "you white english cunt" so of course i justed the term with a couple of extras added, though he had the check once i said it to place the race card.
