I've heard young people in the past say 'that's my car' when really its clear not, it just means they want it not that they actually own it.

Classic example the other night at the pub...

Went to pick my mate up, he was with a few lasses so I offered them a lift home...

we walked out the pub, past my car to the bank... on the way past this lass said, that's my car, my brother is using it tonight... shoulda seen her face when she had to get in it!!!!
