i Used to get to do 100 miles on £10 when i had my 2lt 16v that was mised driving aswell (so hard, twisty road,motorway etc etc)

there you go ladies, my 1.4 does 34.59 and that was including driving over peak district which i did mostly in 3rd gear, dam corners!

This won't work for people on CS - they only put in £10 of fuel at a time and have no concept of measuring fuel in litres.

i put £25 in yesterday, iive done 240 miles in my 2.0 16v. that was wiv normal driving. alittle bit of a thrashing. de-catted too!

thats what i got. mainly motorway miles tho. i know on short journeys it aint thtat good!

I normally put in £20 at a time and i get about 150miles thats on a 1600GSI (not standard)

Every single 2litre vaux engine does 223.4562 miles to a full tank, no more no less, it's exactly that and if anyone tells you different, they smell of wee.

i manage 280- 300 odd miles from a full tank with the odd thrashing and if take it easy for the whole tanks worthi get a tad more

at the min i'm not to sure what i get as its just been rebuilt with various mods would like to see how it compares with cams etc

still deffo miles better than my 1.4 16v that did 50 odd miles to £10

My GTE 16v does approx 240miles to a £26-27 tank... and I dont do driving it nicely...

It gets ragged!

i used to rag mine to death and i mean give it death and it did a nice healthy 30K miles untill JR broke it

now i look after it as its been one hell of an investment
