Tim's Phase 3.5 can only do 13.5 in the dry? an i think if he was on a Wet track it would make a big diffrance on his take off and times

just asking about yer engine mods, due to basically a std v6 corsa vs a std xe corsa should be the same 1/4mile time. slightly more tourque and power, heavier engine, doesnt rev as easily.

not questioning your time, just wanna know what the hell you done to get it that quick

Wow! That time must exceed your expectations by a mile!?

hats off to you Mr Beard!

Are you at all dubious of their timings? Ie? Did standard cars run their standard times?

Cant see you pulling that time down the pod myself... would be interesting to see what it could do in the dry though!! Get your slip up so we can see 60ft & TV etc.

no offence beardy but from what i hear the timing was a joke and everyones times were way optomistic, like a 1.6 8v nova gsi doing 13.8, someone shouting go with a stopwatch lol

realistically your times are nearer 16 seconds

Ian I think 16 seconds sounds a bit slow but yeah 13's for a std v6 does sound 'optimistic' to say the least.

the old one produced 230, was a mid mounted engine (RWD???) and covered the qtr in roughly 15.0.... IIRC

id hazard a guess that a Clio wieghs less than a wide arch corsa too

beardys times are WELL out!
