I got a quote of about £2400 for a sport when i was 17. That was with Tesco, and they'd have kmocked off about 20% because i had Pass plus. I thought it was too much though, so payed about 1300 with the discount for a 1.2 8v. All FC quotes  .
Also it pays to get your own policy. Im now 19, 2 years NCB and paying £850 FC on a C 1.4 SRi  .

Im 17 and got a 1.4 sport, the cheapest quote ive got was from Admiral at £1700 tpft, with my provisional license  me as main driver and me mum as a named driver on the policy.

Im 25 and pay £450 for me & the bf f/c & thats with business cover cos i use it for work & also he's got 5 points. Thats with norwich union.

my misus had a quote under tesco for 1700 fc 17 new driver
now with her dads fleet insurance paying £300 and im a named driver as well
