^^ that pisses me off, how old ppl get so cheap insurance, they cant even see half the time. iv been following loads of old ppl driving, and they r all over the road, hitting kurbs etc.

i was cut up earlier by an old fucker, i gave her some horn action but she didnt even flinch, basically we pay more to watch out for these fuckers so they can pay less

check your policy - it may be that even tho your mods are covered, incase of accident/claim then standard parts are used to replace damaged items...
hence the shitty price!

sub 900 is all the car is worth standard

I looked at HIC insurance document, but it don't say any thing about when the car being declared a total loss they only pay for the standard replacements?
Anyone got any more suggestions on what to do?

i know my insurance company would replace with standard even though all mods declared.
bummer though...you lose out cause some old bint cannae drive...

I phoned Highway insurance and the person i spoke to said that if i wanted to dispute offer amount, then i will have to get some prices of cars the same as mine (with the kit) and with the same sort of mileage?

tbh if you sold your car you wouldnt get a great deal more its done. 100k plus. scoob sold his, big kit ect for 900
