look of the draw really!
the detect program doesnt work, mine was being picked as R350 Core (regular pro), but once I took the fan off it was defo an R360!
Also - make sure your memory is 256bit & not 128bit (rivatuner or whatever should tell you if it is or not!)
128bit memory will be useless for XT flashing
But make sure you upgrade the cooling if flashing to XT BIOS if your card can take it, as it increases core voltages to go stable, but OC it first PAST XT levels to see if its stable, not all will be!

ATI Tool even, not Riva Tuner...
ATI Tool is good for testing & overclocking your ATI card...

Well from what ive heard the new sapphire ones have been coming with r360 cores
128bit memory only comes on 9800SE cards, not pro's.

dino - your memory will be 128bit, but did you actually look at the core itself???
also, check the memory on the card, even tho its 128bit, it may still have good OC rates!

Yeh its not in black and white it runs it ok
I was only kidding m8,
You can tell by the Samsung chips. If they end in 1.6 the card can be flashed. I got a Sapphire X800 pro Vivo and flashed it to an XTPE. Runs perfect at the higher speeds and it enabled the 4 disabled pipelines. Saved over £100-£150 in buying the dearer card. Another good card to overclock is a 9700 pro but they're getting hard to find. Maybe on ebay.

well i think u can, its supposibly the best cooled 5900 going... without watercooling
Its the XT version, which is meant to be the slow one, but mine is clocked identical to a 5900 Ultra and it runs perfect....
thats about a 40% overclock so its doing well LOL.

no point flashing it as you have 128bit memory
just OC it to get the gains & get better cooling
