If you read your counterpart of your liecense then it will tell you how long the points stay on for, they stay on for 4 yrs but the insurance fo some reason count it as 5

I kept reading on down the past to see 4years until points come off your licence, my heart dropped as i wont want my SP30 and five points to go............
I got my points in January 2002 so they go off my licence in 2006 then?

This is impossible, your allowed 11 max then anything over is an automatic ban
yes it is possable, my mate has 16 and i've seen his liscence, he was banned after getting 12. he had about 10 then got 8 more points so he got banned and 8 points, after his ban he can drive again but any more points is an instante ban again. but 6 points are due to go in about 3 months, but he'll still be on the limmit

Old one this but here you go............
They ony count for three years, but stay on your licence for 6years for the police but they like to see em so if your done again they really go for you as you have not learnt.
Insurance count em for 5years.
So when 6years has passed you can then apply for a new licence and they will not be shown, but untill then they will always be with you.
