Yeah, kit did mate thats why I took it off as soon as I got it home
Skirts looked good, but they'd had a hard life going over speed bumps by the look of it, cracked and needed painting. I had a brand new GSI kit so thought frig it just fit that

beast!
nice too see my mirrors, vectra indicators and smooth handles are still there. wonder what happened to my back bumper. its was a late spec one too but had a hyundai coupe plate recess and i'd plastic welded the entire groove smooth and the tow eye cover. Nice to see it still looking a beast. cheers!
the name Col Bennet doesnt ring bells.......?
hows the elctric sunroof doing?
Is the interior middle panel still metallic grey?
and the dials to match? with the blue bulbs?
he put a gsi interior in it by the looks of it....

the skirts cracked where I'd joined them. ford plastic doesnt weld very well as theres alot of hydrocarbons in it. so had to fibreglass them etc. Still the only corsa with them to this day!i've still got the trackies I wore when filling the back of the skirts with expanding foam! my garage pants!

Thats Col from Skem isn't it?
Used to have the red one Mark, put a GSi kit and Speedlines on it, then wrote it off
He bought Chris's silver Sport, pics of it were on uploader.co.uk which is now down. Its lovely though

Still got the gey middle part on the dash and the dials, no blue bulbs though. Sunroof is sound, boot solnoid has packed in Col is wiring in a boot popper for me.
Does the Hyundi Re-cess come away from the bumper or is it a chop out job?? I need to have that done, the way you had your back bumper is exactley how I want it - typical some sod's took it off!!!!! How hard was it to do?
Your welcome to come around to ours and take a gander mate
Oh yeah did Darren Bates fit the alarm??

the hyundai recess was cut out of the original bumper then plastic welded using a gas solder with a fat tip on to the corsa bumper. with a rough cut out. it was then tidied up. ive got some pitures of how it was as photos. the number plate light was cut out, and a plastic peice welded behind, then built up and skimmed with flexi- filler for plastic. the tow cover was welded up too, and the groove was a pain in the arse. i basically cut strips fom the hyundai bumper and welded the strips into the groove as you would with welding rods!!
The alarm was fitted by a family friend who worked for Sextons at the time. Laserline 996 v2 if i remember right. it had the window shutters fitted too. wouldnt work on the sunroof because of how it opens. eg. slide then tilt.
I'd love to see it again mate. i'll see if i can come up one weekend. choka with my house at the moment though...typical!

I never liked the way the top section wasn't entirely white. I might try it again some day with an ultra cluster and those silver bulbs that light up a color.
The red bit faded as well. Don't know who else makes that sort of paint? Think we used Foliatec on those ones.
Incidently, their whereabouts are unknown at present, the guy who bought the car off Mark put lexus ones on.

ditto mate. the gsi ones wont fit anyway. the real bumpers have brackets on the inside to screw the fogs to.
i cut out the rear number plate lights to accept 2 cavalier back bumper ones with out the surround. pocketed them in a scrappy i think!
