In the SRI yeah but only on major roads most of the time unless it's muppets doing 20 in a 30 etc...try not to do it in small side roads or, through villages or past schools...On the R6 it's compulsory though

No I sit where the cars can see me in their right mirror. Then again even if I was in your blind spot . You are supposed to check this before any manoeuver. Beside I wouldn't be behind you for long

Haha you need to take your test again my friend. Your blind spot is in your mirrors. You can still see if you turn your head. People shouldn't brake on bends , besides I don't overtake cars on bends that is silly and will result in a nasty accident. Honestly some car drivers should appreciate what it's like to ride a bike. It really does make you a more aware driver. Most drivers are great and will move over for a bike. Some try to block when trying to filter. Even at the traffic lights lol.

The biker's round here are all much more dangerous than the car drivers, one of them nearly crashed straight into the bloody side of me on a roundabout because he was going so damn quickly.

no no no,they sit right on the rear corner i aint turning my neck 180degrees to look just before an emergency stop as some kid runs out to get his ball on a bend in front of me! i move over for a bike, i know itll do 1918282times the speed of me so no point in holding it up!

That's a good point broster but if your doing an emergency stop and the biker is too far up your ass then it's his fault anyway. In an emergency you couldn't be blamed for swerving etc... but you should still be able to see a bike in your blind spot after a glance. Accept in maybe tansit vans etc...where there is no back windows and limited mirror vission. I think everyone should get out on a scooter and see how scarey it is to be on two wheels and apprecite how vunerable it can be. Also to see the general poor driving of the people in your area.

yea i know but it annoyes me as the biker will no doubt get substantial injust as hell pound into the back of my car etc or go under my wheels etc......id feel guilty about it as i caused it even tho it was his fault, its hard to explain lol! id rather not go on a bike full stop, i cant trust myself or others. also ill admit the driving in my area is shit especially on roundabouts and lane swapping

I hate the blind spot on a corsa, i can check my rear view mirror, my wing mirrors turn my head to look over my shoulder and a complete car /motor bike can be conceled in my blind spot, can be scary some times
